The apartment was designed to shift in mood as you move through it. Up front, the living and communal spaces stay light and open - pale walls, warm wood, the original fireplace still anchoring the room after a hundred years. Move further in and it gets moodier, more enclosed, built for winding down rather than gathering. The art studio has a rolling ladder built into the cabinetry, sitting below hand-cut tile we sourced specifically for the room. Off the primary suite, a sauna gives the apartment somewhere to fully slow down. The art throughout is one-of-a-kind, commissioned from artists working in different corners of the world.
